Last updated: 10 June 2026
This Cookie Policy describes the types of cookies and similar technologies used on the website www.johngrayeurope.com (hereinafter the “Site”), their purposes and how users can manage their preferences. This notice supplements and forms part of the Site’s Privacy Policy.

The controller of the data collected through the Site’s cookies is:

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites visited send to the user’s device (computer, smartphone, tablet), where they are stored and then sent back to the same websites on the next visit. Alongside cookies, the Site may use similar technologies – such as web beacons, tracking pixels and local storage – collectively referred to here, for simplicity, as “cookies”.
Cookies may be “first-party”, when managed directly by the owner of the Site, or “third-party”, when installed by other parties. Based on their duration, they are divided into “session” cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed, and “persistent” cookies, which remain stored until they expire or are deleted.
3. Categories of cookies used
3.1 Technical and necessary cookies
These ensure the proper functioning of the Site and the delivery of the services requested (for example browsing, cart and checkout management, storage of consent preferences). They are essential and are installed without the need for consent, as they are processed on the basis of the Controller’s legitimate interest in providing a functioning and secure service.
3.2 Functional and preference cookies
These allow the choices made by the user (for example language or settings) to be stored in order to improve the browsing experience. Depending on how they are used, they may require the user’s consent.
3.3 Analytics and statistical cookies
These allow information to be collected, including in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the Site, in order to measure and improve its performance. When installed by third parties or not anonymised, these cookies require the user’s consent.
3.4 Profiling and marketing cookies
These are used to create user profiles and to deliver advertising messages in line with the preferences shown while browsing, including on third-party websites, as well as to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These cookies are installed only with the user’s prior consent.
4. Third-party cookies
The Site may integrate services provided by third parties which independently install their own cookies. In such cases, data processing is governed by the respective privacy notices, to which reference is made. Depending on the services actually active, the main third parties may include:
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) – statistical and marketing purposes. Privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy – Cookies: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
- Meta Platforms (Meta/Facebook Pixel, Instagram) – marketing and campaign measurement purposes. Privacy notice: facebook.com/privacy/policy – Cookies: facebook.com/policies/cookies
- PayPal – payment management and fraud prevention. Privacy notice: paypal.com/it/legalhub/paypal/privacy-full – Cookies: paypal.com/it/legalhub/paypal/cookie-full
- Video platforms (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo) – where video content is embedded in the pages. YouTube is subject to the Google privacy notice indicated above; Vimeo: vimeo.com/cookie_policy
5. Detailed list and duration of cookies
The complete and always up-to-date list of the cookies present on the Site – including the name, provider, purpose and duration of each – can be viewed, and changed at any time, through the consent management panel.
Unless otherwise indicated for a specific cookie, the consent given by the user has a default duration of 30 days, after which it will be requested again.
6. Managing consent and preferences
When the Site is accessed for the first time, a banner is displayed allowing users to accept all cookies, reject them or select individual categories. Cookies other than technical ones are installed only after consent has been obtained.
Users may change or withdraw their choices at any time, as easily as they gave them, by reopening the preferences panel:
In addition, users can manage or disable cookies directly from their browser settings. Instructions are available in the official guides of the main browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple Safari
- Microsoft Edge
Please note that completely disabling technical cookies may impair the proper functioning of the Site and access to certain features.
7. Transfer of data to third countries
Some of the third parties indicated above (in particular Google, Meta and PayPal) may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer takes place in compliance with the safeguards provided for by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – for example the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission or the applicable adequacy decisions – as specified in the respective privacy notices.
8. Rights of the data subject
In relation to the processing carried out, users may at any time exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15-22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, including: the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of data, the right to object and the right to withdraw the consent given, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights, you can write to the email address info@omsaracom.com. The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian Data Protection Authority – www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Updates to this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be subject to changes or updates, including as a result of changes in the services used or in the applicable legislation. Users are therefore encouraged to review it periodically. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
10. Contact
For any information regarding this Cookie Policy or the processing of personal data, you can contact the Controller at the email address info@omsaracom.com. For further information on the processing of personal data, please refer to the Site’s Privacy Policy.
